PREPARE FOR AN ACCIDENT
Nobody plans to have an auto accident and yet greater car usage across Ontario means an increased chance you and your family may be involved in an auto accident next time you' re out driving on public roads.

Educate yourself, prepare ahead of time for the accident-waiting-to-happen, and remain in the drivers seat after you find yourself in need of collision repairs.

Preparing for an accident is as simple as having a glove box kit in your car that includes contact information for family, friends, preferred insurer, preferred towing company, and preferred collision repair facility. A digital camera and recording tools are also a good idea to document third party contact information for those directly involved in the accident and to outline the accident scenarios.

Ontario's auto insurance policies and regulations protect the consumer's right to choose a collision repair facility in the event they have a need to file an auto accident claim with their auto insurance provider.
